Fez

Fez is a centuries-old city. Its medina is among the largest in the world.
The city stands out for its extensive architectural and cultural heritage. The first university was founded here, a merit recognized by UNESCO, which also declared the Medina of Fez as a World Heritage Site in 1981.
The tanners’ area, in the medina of Fez, is one of the most iconic in Morocco. Here the artisans dye the colored skins. The area can be visited and is visible from the nearby terraces, some are accessible.

Meknes & Volubilis

Meknes is one of the imperial cities of Morocco along with Marrakech, Rabat and neighboring Fez.
Its historic city, built by the Almoravids in the 11th century, is a World Heritage Site.
Although less touristy than other cities, Meknes is worth a visit. It houses a large number of monuments and natural spaces.
Just 20 km from Meknes you can enjoy the ruins of the Maura and Roman city of Volubilis, possibly the archaeological enclave that is in the best state of conservation in North Africa.
Volubilis was the capital of the Kingdom of Mauritania and later became a Roman city. The enclave has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

Rabat

The capital of Morocco has a lot to offer in terms of culture and leisure.
Throughout the year the city of Rabat hosts a large number of festivals and cultural events. It also has some of the most important museums in the country.
Architecturally, the city is made up of traditional and modern buildings that coexist in perfect harmony.

You can’t miss the medina and its kasbah by the sea.

The weather is pleasant in Rabat all year round and the atmosphere of the city is fabulous. It is worth a visit on your trip to Morocco. You can spend the night in Rabata or a day trip stopping at its train station.

Casablanca

Casablanca is the most modern city in Morocco. It is the economic capital of the country and headquarters of numerous multinational companies.
The range of leisure, restaurants and shops in Casablanca is extensive. But it offers much more than that.
The Hassan II Mosque, located by the sea, is among the most visited monuments in the country. It surprises with its beauty and large dimensions.
Next to the impressive mosque you will find the Boulevard de la Corniche, one of the most exclusive areas of Casablanca.

Marrakech & Desert

If your travel plan includes traveling Morocco from North to South, the night train that runs between Asilah and Marrakech is a great option.
You can leave at midnight from Asilah and arrive in Marrakech first thing in the morning.

Although if you prefer, you can travel during the day and stop, for example, in Rabat.

Marrakech is one of the capitals of the world, a city with a unique character. Visiting its great architectural and artistic heritage is an enriching option.
From Marrakech you can organize an excursion or getaway to the desert with a specialized agency and discover places such as Merzouga, Erg Chebbi, Agafay or the fascinating kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou.
